Reflections

The days spent with the team had made me see things beyond the surface. Judgement cannot be made based on an encounter/event. We react differently on different circumstances but as a team, we voice our opinion, seek understanding and decide as one. I saw in some of you the anticipator, the procrastinator, the involved, the no-so-involved, the wise, the no-so wise, the leader, the follower.....Each one of you has fine intrinsic qualities which may have yet been discovered. When put to good use (though some of these qualities may be mutually exclusive), it makes a wonderful team.

The members have grown from being strangers to friends and thereafter the trip? Who shall we become? Although we may be going for the same trip, with the same purpose, the experience will be different for each of us. Some will learn a lot, some will learn a little, some will not learn anything...The choice is ours because it's the attitude that determines how much one will gain. Some may have gone on such trips aplenty of times but questioned its benefit. But for some, just one trip and they can see the benefits.

Let us look forward to a whole new learning experience together...Just a week more..and 16days in Cambodia...How much will I learn this time round? One thing for sure, I believe in trusting my members and as each day passes, I'll grow to be more and more comfortable with my members around..:)
